Updates!
Visit the blog!
(No, the site's not back, but there's a link to Palace of the End pictures!)
I've mostly stopped updating the LJ.  If I can figure out how to create an LJ feed for the blog, I'll post it here.

There's a blog post on The Timekeeper with a picture - okay, it's just the top of Mr. Richings' head, but there it is.
So, French-speakers, what does the blog post say?

I've spent some of the morning deleting obscene and just plain weird spam out of comments on various entries.  Now that we've apparently been found by a spambot, I'm going to have to turn off anonymous commenting and turn on IP logging.  Sorry, folks, but LJ accounts are free!  I promise not to do anything untoward with your IP addresses.

Eye Weekly has an interview this week with Arsinée Khanjian, who is appearing in Palace of the End with Mr. Richings.  She talks about her understanding of the issues and the play itself.  The article is [here], but I'm reproducing it under the cut in case they archive the article.  The actual article has a picture of the actress in question.

Via Playbill News, Mr. Richings is appearing in the CanStage production of Judith Thompson's Palace of the End at Berkeley Street Theatre from Jan. 17 to Feb. 23. He's playing a British microbiologist and weapons inspector - more about the play in the PlayBill News article.

Just an FYI - the website is going to be overhauled and redesigned, so it will be down for a while.  I'll post when I take it down, so no one panics.  Because I know you're all hitting the site EVERY DAY.

He's apparently got a recurring role in this "Roxy Hunter" series of TV-films.  According to the sorta-reliable sources of IMDB and Wikipedia, Roxy Hunter and the Mystery of the Moody Ghost was broadcast on Nick (US only) in October of this year.  Did anyone see it?
The DVD is being released on February 5, 2008.

Mirror to Blogspot post (mirrored posts will continue for....a while - but I'll warn before I stop posting here entirely):

IMDB update - he's listed as "attached" to the miniseries XIII.
This means, of course, that not only may Mr. Richings not be appearing in this miniseries, the miniseries may only exist in the mind of someone with IMDB editing access. Yes, I'm bitter, IMDB has let me down in the past.
Apparently, XIII is a movie version of a video game (which was based on a book). The synopsis of the video game (not the movie!!) XIII is as follows:
A man is rescued by a lifeguard on Brighton Beach. He has suffered a head wound and has no memory of who he is. His only clues to his identity are a tattoo of a roman numeral, XIII and a key to a bank deposit box. He is ambushed by hitmen but escapes, and is eventually captured by the FBI. Colonel Amos of the FBI has photographic evidence of the man, now identified as Steve Roland. With the help of a young woman named Major Jones, the man sets out to search for the missing General Carrington. Carrington went missing while conducting his when investigation into the president's murder and may be the man's only hope of uncovering the truth behind his identity. Can the enigmatic Agent XIII discover the evidence needed to expose the truth or will the shadowy conspiracy continue it's plans for America...

Mr. Richings is listed by IMDB in the role of "Cody." The titular role of XIII has been awarded - says IMDB - to Stephen Dorff.

Anyone going to Toronto?  Playbill has the listings for Tarragon Theatre's play readings.  Among them:
Dec. 1, 8 PM: The House of Many Tongues by Jonathan Garfinkel, with Hrant Alianak, Maev Beaty, David Fox, Janick Hebert, Daniel Karasik, Julian Richings. "A house in Jerusalem, 2003, is home to Israeli General Shimon, and his adolescent son Alex, who's busy trying to bring peace to the Middle East through improved sexual techniques. When Palestinian writer Abu Dalo returns to the house he left 40 years ago, pursued by his long-lost daughter, we realize somehow these four people are going to have to live together — if they don't kill each other first."

Via [info]pilar_sama, there's interesting Richings-related "stuff" at the Paul Jones Effects Studio website.  High ick factor, but nifty.  Go to "Company Portfolio," then select "Artificial Body Parts."  Go down to the eighth thumbnail - it's....a very familiar face.  Or, you can select "Character Prosthetics" in the same section, choose thumbnail #5, and take a look at Three Finger from Wrong Turn.

Also, there's a blurb on Twitchfilm.com about Rodrigo Gudino's next film, a five minute horror short "told with a single still photograph set in the 1930s. The film stars Julian Richings (Kingdom Hospital, Hard Core Logo) along with newcomers Lea Lawrynowicz, Alan Alderton and Tony Morrone and contains original music by Johnny Hollow.."

Search macro roundup....
Review of Saw IV that says "Based on series patterns, Joanne Boland and Julian Richings will have major parts in the next sequel, reprising their roles of "crime scene photographer" and "vagrant," respectively."
Note on the NOWToronto blog about "Producers SAW Local Talent" with the note that "
Julian Richings, whose face always looks great in horror flicks, has a few seconds of screen time as a derelict in a seedy hotel..." and a further cast list for the movie.

The Tracey Fragments is reviewed in today's Star - three out of four stars, but the review is worth reading.  The film is playing at the Royal in Toronto - would someone please go see it and tell me how it is?  I doubt I'll ever be able to see it, as that sort of split-screen camera work tends to make me queasy.  Just watching the trailer makes me a bit seasick.

Web page update to come shortly, probably tomorrow.

Anyone seen it?  IMDB turned out to be correct about Skinwalkers, so maybe it's right about this one, too.

Did I remember to post these previously?  Pictures from the Timekeeper.

He's in a few of them.

There's an article here on The Timekeeper(which includes info on the part Mr. Richings is playing), but it's in French and wow, Babelfish has really gone down hill on translations.  Any Francophones reading this?  Want to tell me what it says?
